Robot Arms (Manipulators)

Several kinds of robot arms (multi-joint manipulators with "gripper" end effector) are offered and supported by MobileRobots, including smaller arms for Pioneer and PatrolBot robots, as well as larger arms for the Powerbot, Seekur and SeekurJr. In addition, a fixed gripper is available for Pioneer robots, and a gripper with a vertical lift is available for Peoplebot robots.

• The Cyton 7DOF Pioneer Arm can be used on a Pioneer 3 DX, Pioneer 3 AT, Peoplebot or Patrolbot. The Cyton 7DOF arm has replaced the Original 5DOF Pioneer 2 Arm which has been discontinued.

• The more capable Cyton Premium 8DOF Pioneer Arm can be used on a PatrolBot or Pioneer.

• The PowerCube Arm can be used on a Powerbot. This arm is also known as the PowerArm or PowerBot Arm. This consists of a series of connected Schunk or Amtec brand PowerCube Pan/Tilt Modules, plus a gripper end effector.

• The Terabot Outdoor Arm can be used on a Seekur or SeekurJr.
