This page contains clarifications and corrections to the 6th edition (Version 6) of the Pioneer 3 Operations Manual for Pioneer 3 DX and AT robots (with SH microcontrollers and ARCOS firmware).
P3AT specifications
Maximum payload of P3AT is erroneously listed at 40 kg. Maximum payload should be 15 kg for smooth tile or painted concrete and lower for higher friction surfaces. See [[1]] for up to date specs of all platforms.
Motor-Power Board

Notes:
- The microcontroller data and power connections on the board and in some documentation are labelled "H8 Microcontroller" and "H8 Micro Pwr". These same connections are used for the newer SH controller as well.
- The legacy C166 microcontroller connector may not be present in later revisions of the board
