The Mapper3 application (which replaces the older LaserMapper application) is a program designed as a helper for ARNL and MobileSim. Use Mapper3 to convert ARNL's laser scan log files (.2d) to map files (.map), edit map data and by add goals, forbidden lines, home points, and other map objects. These maps can be used with ARNL or SONARNL as maps to localize and navigate with and with MobileSim to define the space to simulate. Mapper3 can save maps as bitmap images, and with an appropriate server, upload and download maps automatically.

Image:Warning_icon_bw.png You must have purchased the Laser Mapping and Navigation package to have access to these files. You can use Mapper3Basic instead, which provides the map editing features, but cannot process laser scans.
