Audio/Sound Switch and Amplifier

From MobileRobots Research and Academic Customer Support

Jump to: navigation, search

The integrated audio package includes an amplifier as well as the speakers and microphone which is powered via the AUX2 switch on the side control panel. This switch must be on for sound to work. (On some old robots, this switch is labelled RADIO.)

The amplifier is usually mounted either inside the laser mounting bracket (if present), or under the robot's top plate. It also has level adjustments for the microphone and speakers.
