Advanced Robotics Control and Operations (ARCOS) Firmware

ARCOS is the embedded software (firmware) that runs your Pioneer 3-DX, -AT, Performance PeopleBot or PowerBot robot's Renesas SH2-based microcontroller. Your robot's microcontroller also contains operating parameters in its FLASH memory.

Use the ARCOScf tool included with the package to update your ARCOS firmware and to manage your robot's operating FLASH parameters. ARCOScf should be used with a built in or PCI card serial port only. USB-serial ports frequently cause problems writing to the flash memory. Consult the included README and your robot's Operations Manual for details.
