ACTS
From MobileRobots Research and Academic Customer Support
ACTS (ActivMedia Color Tracking System), in combination with a color camera and frame grabber hardware in a PC, lets your applications actively track up to 320 colored objects at a full 30 frames per second. Developed by Dr. Paul Rybski, ACTS is very useful as a vision sensor for robotics, and for object identification, surveillance, and many other machine-vision applications.

The ACTS demonstration version has the full capabilities of the licensed version of ACTS, except for the network communication. This means you can try out ACTS itself: train colors, load images, save configuration parameters, and everything else pertaining to color tracking, but you are unable to access ACTS from another program, such as integrating it with ARIA for robot color-tracking motion control. The full, licensed version of ACTS is only available to customers who purchased it.

Notes
ACTS will work with the Haupage 558 PCI framegrabber on Windows (See Drivers#Video_Framegrabbers here for drivers), though this is not documented. Use "haupage" as the framegrabber type. There is no channel selection with this framegrabber, so that parameter is ignored.
