ARCOS Install Failed

If you tried to install a new version of ARCOS or other robot firmware, and it failed to completely write the new firmwmare to the microcontroller, try again -- sometimes a serial port error will prevent the write from completing.
If you have tried several times without success, try connecting the robot to a different computer for the download; some computers and operating systems have problems with the serial port connection. If you are using a USB serial adapter, try using a plain serial cable without USB connection. Some USB serial adapters are more reliable than others.
Contact support if you are unable to perform the download after trying these things.
